Let me introduce myself. I am a mother of a lovely 10 year old daughter and wife to an amazing talented architect. We adopted our daughter from China when she was 21 months old. Of course, I had to learn Mandarin so we could talk. Making sure my tones were correct so  I would say, You are such a good girl, rather than you are so strange.  Here is our little girl Estee Li Li.
