Who Made This I Love Vintage Blog Anyway

Let me introduce myself. I am a mother of a lovely 10 year old daughter and wife to an amazing talented architect. We adopted our daughter from China when she was 21 months old. Of course, I had to learn Mandarin so we could talk. Making sure my tones were correct so  I would say, You are such a good girl, rather than you are so strange.  Here is our little girl Estee Li Li. In Chinese her name is: 丽丽 which means beautiful. She is our spicy Hunan Girl. If you love vintage and just may be thinking of adopting babies from China. Please visit Adopt Chinese

I Love Vintage

I have always loved vintage, shabby chic and antiques as far back as I can remember. My dear mother beautifully decorated our home on Long Island, New York with fine antiques. Growing up as a teenager in the late '60s, I would buy vintage clothing; collect vintage hankies, shabby chic fabrics and bark cloth, and kitschy ceramics made in Japan.  Still 40 years later, I am still drawn to Vintage aprons, jewelry, antique books, collectible stickers and greeting cards from the 1910-1950s.
I made this website: I Love Vintage yesterday and found absolutely gorgeous vintage custom jewelry from England.

I dug a little deeper and found the cutest Vintage Aprons and rubber gloves

I have always loved Shabby Chic furnishings even before Rachel Ashwell made them trendy. Would you not just love these Shabby Chic, Vintage style lamps and chandeliers?

These all can be found at: I LOVE VINTAGE
